Test sign-up (this site)
When you sign up we store: your e-mail address; the platform and e-mail language you chose; your Telegram username if you gave one; the time you agreed to this notice; the status of your sign-up (waiting for confirmation, confirmed, invited) with dates; where the sign-up came from; a one-way keyed hash of your IP address and a shortened browser identification string (user agent). The hash and the browser string are only used to stop spam and abuse; we do not store your IP address itself.
Why
To run the test: to confirm your address, keep the waitlist, send your invitation and service e-mails about the test, and protect the sign-up from abuse. We do not sell or share your data and send no advertising.
Game account
When you register in the game we store your e-mail, a salted hash of your password, your game progress and technical login data (device and IP information) to run the game and keep it secure. Account e-mails are only service messages such as confirmation and password reset codes.
Our e-mails are sent from support@rushofshadows.org through our mail provider. We keep a log of sent e-mails (recipient, type, time, delivery status — never codes or links) to respect sending limits and to answer support questions.
Cookies
The site sets only necessary cookies: a session cookie that protects forms against forgery (and keeps you signed in on the account page) and a cookie that remembers your language. No analytics, no advertising, no third-party requests.
How long
Unconfirmed sign-ups are deleted after 7 days. Confirmed sign-ups are kept until the end of the test phase or until you withdraw. Game accounts are kept until you delete them.
Your choices
Every e-mail about the test contains a link that deletes your sign-up immediately. You can delete your game account and all game data on the account page. For anything else, write to support@rushofshadows.org — you can ask what we store about you, have it corrected or deleted.
